Helping To Change Hundreds of Families Lives Worldwide
The goal of The Foundation for Nutrition and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases in Children (NIBD) is to foster research into the clinical significance of nutrition in the management of IBD, and to educate patients in the importance of adhering to a nutritional protocol that has now been well demonstrated to be extremely beneficial for the well being of juvenile IBD patients.
Support The Foundation for NIBD in our races to raise awareness about proper nutrition and juvenile IBD. This fall, Hitback Evolution Trainer and NIBD’s official triathlete and marathoner Ryan Jansen will be participating again in Marathons and Triathlons on the East Coast to help raise money for our clinical nutrition research.
Honoring a true humanitarian and pioneer inventor of TPN, Doctor Stanley J. Dudrick who passed away January 18, 2020. We at NIBD were so blessed to have met him and called him friend. "The number of lives of children saved by TPN stands at more than 10 million, and the benefits to adults with a range of conditions has been substantial."

As many of you know my daughter, Kathie Grovit Ferbas, Ph.D. is a respected HIV research scientist and has served for many years as the Scientific Administrator of the UCLA AIDS Institute. Kathie will continue in this position and now has been appointed as the Scientific Administrator of the UCLA COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Clinical Research Response Team as well. I know that our NIBD family wishes her much success (and safety).
